Kind Words of our Customers
I bought the stunning ‘Winter’s Dusk at the Marina’ print as a house- warming gift for 2 Corkonians living abroad. They absolutely love it!
Sue was so helpful throughout the whole process. When there was a slight delay with the delivery date, she personally contacted the delivery company to make sure that the print arrived safely. I’ll definitely return to purchase more prints to remind us of favourite Cork locations that hold great memories for us from over the years.

“Sue’s art is absolutely beautiful. We have two of her prints and they are the centre pieces of our living room. We have also gifted Sue’s prints to family and they have loved them too."

We gave a gift to our daughter and her fiancée of the piece “There is always another path”, and they loved it. Their first home was on the Mardyke during Covid so that was their daily walk for a long time. The colours in the piece are stunning and it is beautifully framed. Sue was a pleasure to deal with.

"I bought two of Sue's gorgeous photography prints as Christmas presents, but couldn't bare to part with both, so ended up keeping one for myself!
I'm always impressed by Sue's talent and creativity, and as she adds more images to her collection, I'll be happily planning my next acquisition. They are simply beautiful framed images of some lovely Irish places, and particularly her native Cork, a great gift for anyone including myself."
Lisa O'Brien, Carrigtohill
“I bought Sue’s Crosshaven piece as it just stopped me in my tracks when I saw it. Crosshaven was where I used to meet a close friend while she was going through cancer treatment. We’d sit, talk, and laugh about old times. She passed away not long after, and I miss her terribly. This photograph, it’s not just a picture, it brings her back to me. I'm so grateful for it."
Linda O'Neill, Crosshaven
“I bought a photo of the Shakey Bridge as a Father’s day present as it’s somewhere that means a lot for my Dad and I. It’s so beautiful and brought me straight back to walking there with him every weekend during Covid.
My Dad absolutely loved it just as much as I did!"

Sue is a very talented artist."

“I bought Sue’s beautiful print of the Ballycotton Cliff Walk and it brought me right back to those lockdown days when our only escape was the fresh air and being outside. We walked it as a family a lot during Covid, wrapped up in coats, just grateful to be outside together. That photo now hangs in our sitting room and it’s full of quiet memories."
Grainne O'Carroll, Ballycotton
While visiting the Ballymaloe Christmas Market last year, I was immediately drawn to Sue’s beautiful work, especially the piece titled "Life is the Journey". It was so striking: full of colour and character, yet still unmistakably Cork. The “Shakey Bridge” had never looked so unique, captured in such a joyful, recognisable way. I dropped a few hints, and was thrilled to receive the print as a gift not long after!
When my sister-in-law visited from Australia, the artwork caught her eye straight away. She asked where I’d found it, and with her trip coming to an end, we didn’t have time to order online. We reached out to Sue directly, and she couldn’t have been more helpful, meeting us in person to hand over a framed print before the flight back to Melbourne. It’s already hanging proudly in her home.
Sue’s work is fantastic, vibrant, full of life, and a real celebration of place. Her pieces bring warmth and colour to any space, a treasured addition both to our home here in Cork and now all the way across the world in Australia.

Sue’s work first came to my attention when I saw some prints she had done of the Adare Manor. I loved the style of her pieces, particularly the vibrant colours used. I contacted Sue by email to enquire about commissioning a painting of Ballymaloe House for a wedding present. Many conversations later she helped us decide on an oil painting which would reflect the style and vibrancy of the work that first took my eye. Sue could not have been more helpful throughout the process, asking questions to elicit exactly what we wanted and sending updates of the work to ensure we stayed on the right track. When the painting was completed, she had it framed to a quality that matched her own work. The recipients were blown away by their beautiful gift…and we could not recommend Sue highly enough!

My piece around very promptly after I bought it. Check her work out! She is amazing.

I had a fantastic experience dealing with Sue Nelson from start to finish. She was so responsive and easy to communicate with, offering great advice on picture size, style and colour. Sue brought the painting to our home and allowed us time to live with it to ensure if it was the right vibe and fit, which we really appreciated. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and the whole experience felt relaxed and personal. Delighted to support such a talented Cork artist — I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

We had the pleasure of meeting Sue at the Ballymaloe craft fair this year and purchased one of her prints, which is stunning. We had a lovely chat, she’s a talented and interesting person and very unassuming and modest. A few weeks later I needed a last minute Christmas gift and selected another of her prints - I was late for Christmas shipping and after a quick message Sue went out of her way to meet me in Carrigaline to collect in person, above and beyond. Her work is beautiful - so colourful and a different way of seeing different familiar places, well framed and with lovely presentation too - highly recommend!!
